Save to Tote from Safari

iOS doesn't let third-party web apps appear in the Share Sheet directly, but a one-time Shortcut fixes that. About 60 seconds to set up.

  1. 1. Open the Shortcuts app

It's pre-installed on every iPhone. Tap the + in the top right to create a new shortcut.

  2. 2. Add one action: Open URLs

Search for Open URLs and add it. In the URL field, paste:

    https://myglobaltote.com/dashboard?shared_url=[Shortcut Input]

Where it says [Shortcut Input], tap the variable chip and insert the Shortcut Input magic variable (Safari will pass the page URL into it).

  3. 3. Configure the Share Sheet

Tap the settings icon (ⓘ) at the bottom and turn on Show in Share Sheet. Under Share Sheet Types, leave only Safari web pages and URLs enabled.

  4. 4. Name it

Call it Save to MyGlobalTote. Tap Done.

Using it

In Safari, find an item, tap Share, then scroll down and tap Save to MyGlobalTote. Your dashboard opens with the product pre-filled — confirm to add it to your tote.

Tip: long-press the shortcut in the Share Sheet and pin it to the top so it's one tap every time.
